Flamingo Bay is a unique water lodge on the Barra Peninsula is located in a pristine estuary running parallel to Barra Beach. While Flamingo Bay might not be located on the beach at the sea, it offers a peaceful environment, and crystal clear waters in which the chalets stand on stilts. When the tide is out one can stroll in the sand left by the estuary’s tidal flow, an watch the crabs scuttle by.

Transfers are also offered Flamingo Bay’s sister lodge, Barra Lodge for full use of their watersports and activity centre, as well as Beach Bar and to relax on the beach in the sun.

From the decking surrounding the lodge or from your own balcony, you can watch the fish and crabs swimming in the estuary, or snorkel straight from your chalet to join them in their underwater world.
