Located in Vilanculos, the Gateway to the Bazaruto Archipelago, Casa Rex is a beautiful small lodge nestled amongst pristine gardens, with spectacular beach views. This lodge also has one of the best and most popular restaurants in town.

Casa Rex consists of Acacia Rooms, Courtyard Suites, Premium Rooms and a honeymoon suite. All rooms at Casa Rex have ensuite bathrooms and mosquito nets, as well as fans, and internet points.

Located conveniently near numerous activity centres, the lodge is a good base to explore the Archipelago or to explore Vilanculos.

Mozambique Voyages says: Casa Rex is perfect for those who can’t afford the expensive prices on the islands but yet it offers the opportunity to visit the islands on a daily basis if wanted. Approximately 45 minutes by boat from Vilanculos to the best spot between Bazaruto and Benguerra Island. Not really suited for families. We suggest families to go to Vilanculos Beach Lodge.  Please remember that there is no direct beach access – the beach is accessed via a long staircase
